Stephenson Harwood LLP Advised Avation On The Financing Of An Etihad-Operated Airbus A320 Acquisition
Stephenson Harwood LLP advised Avation PLC, a Singapore-based aircraft lessor, on the financing of its acquisition of a 2013-built Airbus A320 on the secondary market. The aircraft is on a long-term lease to Etihad Airways, the Abu Dhabi-based national airline of the UAE.
The acquisition expands Avation's fleet to 33 leased aircraft and enhances its customer base, now comprising 16 airlines across 14 countries.
The acquisition was financed by Investec Bank plc, and involved an extension of the lease with Etihad Airways, the Abu Dhabi-based carrier, until October 2031.
