Stephenson Harwood LLP Advised Deepocean On Acquisition Of Shelf Subsea
Stephenson Harwood LLP advised DeepOcean, a leading ocean services provider and a portfolio company of Triton Partners, on its acquisition of Shelf Subsea. The transaction marks a significant milestone in DeepOcean’s international growth strategy and will expand its presence into Southeast Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
Following the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Shelf Subsea, the combined group will employ approximately 1,800 people and is expected to generate annual revenues exceeding US$1 billion. Shelf Subsea will be integrated into DeepOcean to enhance regional capabilities and support its global expansion, leveraging engineering expertise, proprietary technologies, and subsea assets.
The Stephenson Harwood team was led by Karima Hudson (Partner) and James Gracey (Associate), with support from colleagues across the firm’s London and Singapore offices. Singapore law advice was provided by Sheetal Sandhu (Partner) and Claris Saw (Associate) from Virtus Law.
