Taylor Wessing Advised Andreessen Horowitz and Index Ventures on US$41 Million Seed Financing of Mirelo AI
Taylor Wessing has advised Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and Index Ventures which co-led the US$41 million seed financing round of AI start-up Mirelo AI GmbH.
Mirelo develops AI-powered solutions for the automatic generation of sound and audio for videos. The company addresses a key challenge in the field of AI-generated videos: whilst the visual quality of AI-generated content continues to improve, appropriate audio accompaniment is often lacking. Mirelo closes this gap with a state of the art foundation model focused on the sound layer of video.
The financing round is one of the largest seed investments in the German AI sector to date.
