Zaki Hashem, Attorneys at Law Advised Blue Aviation on Entry and Launch in Egypt
The prominent and historic Egyptian law firm, Zaki Hashem, Attorneys at Law, acted as lead legal adviser to Blue Aviation in supporting its entry into the Egyptian market and the successful launch of its aviation agency operations across all airports in Egypt.
Blue Aviation is a multinational premium ground-handling supervision provider, widely recognized for serving private flights and VIP clientele. Its services include high-end ground supervision handling, VIP meet and assist services, cargo and AMC flight handling, and curated inflight catering. The company operates across airports in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and now Egypt, and is the fastest-growing company of its category in the Middle East.
Zaki Hashem’s legal support covered the full entry-to-launch lifecycle, including regulatory engagement, incorporation and licensing, operational setup, and related commercial negotiations, culminating in the successful commencement of Blue Aviation’s operations in Egypt.
The Zaki Hashem team was led by Hossam T. Hafez (Partner), with support from Mostafa Elbastawissy (Senior Associate), Khalid Al Melegi (Senior Associate), and Youssef Hadidy (Associate).
Zaki Hashem (ZH) is the oldest and largest legal firm in Egypt, actively and uninterruptedly catering to the legal needs of foreign and Egyptian clients since 1953. ZH offers its clients the full range of corporate, business, and commercial legal services through over 170 employees – around 100 of whom are fee-earners – all advocates of professional excellence and integrity.
