Zul Rafique & Partners Advised VentureTECH On RM28 Million Strategic Investments In IX Telecom And Delta Spike
Zul Rafique & Partners advised VentureTECH on RM28 million strategic investments in IX Telecom and Delta Spike
The prominent Malaysian full-service law firm, Zul Rafique & Partners advised VentureTECH Sdn Bhd on its combined RM28 million investment in IX Telecom Sdn Bhd and Delta Spike Asia Sdn Bhd. The investments are aimed at reinforcing Malaysia’s cybersecurity readiness and cross-border digital connectivity, in line with national priorities on digital resilience and infrastructure.
IX Telecom, a Hybrid Virtual Network Operator advancing seamless global connectivity, will utilise VentureTECH’s investment to support regional scaling, platform commercialisation, and Malaysia’s positioning as a regional digital connectivity hub.
Delta Spike, which delivers full-spectrum cyber defence services across the region, will leverage the investment to further develop its cybersecurity platform, strengthen operational capacity, and expand regionally amid increasingly complex digital threats.
As stated by VentureTECH Chief Executive Officer Ahmad Redzuan Sidek, the investments reflect VentureTECH’s continued commitment to building strong Malaysian companies that address real industry needs and are positioned to scale sustainably. He noted that both IX Telecom and Delta Spike operate in sectors critical to national resilience — from cybersecurity to seamless digital connectivity — and that VentureTECH’s mandate includes building strong Bumiputera-owned companies capable of regional and global expansion.
The Zul Rafique & Partners team was led by Chin Lit Fwu (Partner), with support from Dhyaneswar Ravindran (Legal Associate) and Chua Jingle (Legal Associate) from the Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions practice group.
Zul Rafique & Partners (ZRp) is a prominent, large, full-service Malaysian law firm based in Kuala Lumpur, founded in 1999 by Dato' Zulkifly Rafique.
