Hi Group hires Lee Cullinane as General Counsel
He has previously worked with McGuireWoods, White & Case, and Mayer Brown
London-based fintech company Hi Group has added senior finance lawyer Lee Cullinane as a general counsel. The startup offers a service financing companies' payrolls to boost its liquidity and provide employees with flexible access to their pay.
Cullinane's practice spans the public and private debt markets with a focus on private equity, leverage finance and cross-border transactions.
Recently, Cullinane led Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) finance team at the US law firm McGuireWoods. Prior to that, he worked with White & Case for almost nine years and was a partner at Mayer Brown and Clifford Chance.
David Brown, the chief executive officer at the Hi Group remarked, "Cullinane has an impressive track record at some of the most prestigious law firms across London. We are delighted to have him onboard. His expertise will be integral as we enter our next growth stage and deliver on our vision to make payroll more accessible for everyone."
Cullinane added, "It is an exciting time to join the Hi Group, which has gone from strength to strength over the past year. I look forward to being a part of the team as we gear up to lead the way in providing companies with much-needed cash and employees with flexible access to their salary which can help them through the cost of living crisis."
