ADG Legal Promotes Jaber Al Ameeri to Partner, Strengthening Criminal and Customs Practice
The full-service law firm headquartered in Dubai, ADG Legal has announced the promotion of Jaber Al Ameeri to Partner, reflecting the Firm’s continued commitment to nurturing talent, recognising excellence, empowering leadership, and strengthening the quality of its legal advisory services and long-term growth.
An Emirati lawyer with over 20 years of experience, Jaber Al Ameeri specialises in litigation, customs, and regulatory matters. He has been appointed Partner and Head of Criminal and Customs, a role in which he plays a central part in advising clients on complex disputes and regulatory challenges across the UAE.
Jaber Al Ameeri is licensed to plead before all UAE courts and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Economics. His professional background combines extensive government service with robust private practice experience, giving him a deep and practical understanding of regulatory enforcement, compliance, and litigation strategy.
He began his career with Dubai Customs and later the Federal Customs Authority, where he served as Customs Ports Control and Auditing Section Manager. During this time, he developed significant expertise in customs operations, regulatory enforcement, and compliance frameworks. He subsequently transitioned into private legal practice, where he gained substantial experience handling civil, commercial, and construction disputes, further strengthening his litigation credentials.
As Head of Customs and Criminal at ADG Legal, Jaber Al Ameeri advises on a wide range of complex matters, including customs, labour, civil, and commercial disputes, as well as the enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards in the UAE. He also leads the Firm’s Criminal Team, overseeing matters that require a thorough command of UAE court procedures and strategic case management.
In addition to his litigation practice, Jaber Al Ameeri serves as an external mediator for employment disputes involving corporate entities registered with Dubai South. In this capacity, he supports Dubai South’s employment dispute resolution framework, delivering practical, efficient, and commercially sound outcomes.
Jaber Al Ameeri is widely recognised for his strategic insight, precise drafting, and ability to distil complex legal issues into clear and persuasive submissions. His analytical and results-oriented approach has made him a trusted adviser to clients and a respected leader within the Firm.
He is a member of the Emirates Association for Lawyers and Legal, is a native Arabic speaker, and is fluent in English.
Commenting on the promotion, ADG Legal congratulated Jaber Al Ameeri on this well-deserved achievement and expressed confidence in his continued leadership and contribution to the Firm’s excellence.
