Al Tamimi & Company Promotes Abdelrahman Helmi to Legal Director
The largest law firm in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, Al Tamimi & Company, has promoted Abdelrahman Helmi to Legal Director at its Egypt office.
Abdelrahman Helmi has been a key member of the firm, progressing from Senior Associate within the Intellectual Property practice. Throughout his journey, he has demonstrated exceptional technical expertise, commercial awareness, and a strong commitment to delivering practical, high-quality advice to clients. His promotion reflects not only his individual achievements but also his dedication to supporting and strengthening Al Tamimi & Company’s IP practice in Egypt and across the region.
His experience spans handling high-value intellectual property matters, administrative and corporate disputes, patent annulment suits, franchise agreement dissolutions, SPA agreements, and major border seizures. Abdelrahman Helmi’s career journey includes serving as Senior Associate and Associate at Al Tamimi & Company, Associate at Ibrachy & Dermarkar Law Firm and Horizons & Co Law Firm, Junior Associate at Adel Helmi’s Law Office, and early roles as Legal Assistant at Egyptian Company for Wires and Egyptian Automotive & Trading Co., as well as Legal Intern at Agiba Petroleum Co., covering legal research, corporate setup, contract drafting, and compliance matters.
Abdelrahman Helmi is also a member of the Middle East Global Advisory Council of the International Trademark Association (INTA) since January 2026, reflecting his active engagement with the international IP community. He holds an LL.B. in Civil Law and Comparative Law from Ain Shams University, graduating in 2013 with very good grades.
