ALN Tanzania, a premier corporate and commercial law firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Edward Williams as a Director, based in Dar es Salaam.
An English-qualified Solicitor with over a decade of corporate finance experience across Africa and a strong understanding of global markets, Edward is set to be a strategic advisor to clients, especially across energy, telecom, infrastructure, and entertainment sectors.
His legal expertise includes fundraisings, M&A, anti-bribery investigations, corporate governance, and advising boards and C-suite executives. Edward’s cross-sectoral insights and deal-making acumen will enable ALN Tanzania to deliver tailored commercial solutions that help clients capitalise on opportunities and navigate complex regulatory environments.
“His arrival underscores our commitment to attracting top-tier talent to better serve our clients,” said Shemane Amin, Country Partner at ALN Tanzania.
“Edward’s appointment is a testament to ALN’s ongoing efforts to enhance our capabilities in key markets,” noted Rosa Nduati-Mutero, Managing Partner, ALN Kenya.
Karim Anjarwalla, ALN Board Director, said, “He will play a key role in helping clients make informed investment decisions in Tanzania and the broader region.”
“It has long been a dream of mine to live in Tanzania and be part of the region’s development… Tanzania’s growing economy, expanding investment opportunities and regulatory environment offer an extraordinary opportunity,” said Edward Williams.
