Balfaqeeh Advocates & Legal Consultants Appoints Gehad Alsaeed as Managing Counsel
The UAE-based firm, Balfaqeeh Advocates & Legal Consultants has appointed Gehad Alsaeed as Managing Counsel, further strengthening its senior leadership across corporate, construction, and dispute resolution practices. Gehad joins Aysha Alkaabi, Head of Litigation, and Zaid Ali, Head of Dispute Resolution, reinforcing the firm’s senior legal team.
Gehad brings over 15 years of international legal experience, advising on complex corporate transactions, project finance, infrastructure projects, and high-value disputes. Prior to joining Balfaqeeh, she served as General Counsel at Samcrete Engineers and Contractors, providing legal guidance on major construction and infrastructure developments, financial structuring, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and dispute management.
Her career spans prestigious roles at Baker McKenzie, Zulficar & Partners Law Firm, Elsewedy Electric, CIB Bank, as well as earlier work with the International Court of Justice and the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative. Gehad holds advanced qualifications in international commercial arbitration (FCIArb) and is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Swiss Arbitration Association, with ongoing involvement in CIArb’s Egypt Branch and Trinidad and Tobago Chapter.
