BCLP Appoints Katie Hausfeld to Head Compliance and Investigations in Chicago
International law firm BCLP has appointed Katie Hausfeld as Partner in its Litigation & Investigations Practice, joining the firm’s Chicago office.
Katie Hausfeld advises clients on high-stakes matters, including corporate investigations, compliance, white-collar defense, and complex civil litigation, assisting U.S. and multinational companies facing inquiries from regulators such as the U.S. Department of Justice, SEC, and the World Bank. She has led investigations globally involving fraud, bribery, corruption, money laundering, insider trading, bid rigging, executive misconduct, and other complex corporate matters, in addition to asset tracing and recovery.
Katie also helps organizations strengthen compliance frameworks, designing risk-based programs for anti-corruption and anti-money laundering, conducting due diligence for transactions, and developing enterprise-wide policies and training.

She is also active in pro bono work and a frequent author and speaker on compliance and investigations topics.
Prior to joining BCLP, Katie was Partner and Co-Chair of Global Compliance at DLA Piper.
