Charles Russell Speechlys Strengthens Milan Office with Arrival of Annapaola Negri-Clementi and Team
The global law firm Charles Russell Speechlys has announced the addition of Annapaola Negri-Clementi and her team to its Milan office, marking a significant expansion of the firm’s multidisciplinary private capital offering in Italy.
Annapaola joins the Milan office as a Partner in the Corporate team, bringing with her two Senior Associates – Arianna Leonardelli (Corporate) and Valeria Tommasi (IP) – and Senior Art Consultant, Giorgia Ligasacchi.
Negri-Clementi joins the firm as a distinguished corporate lawyer with expertise spanning corporate transactions, financial markets and fintech, intellectual property (IP), board advisory roles, and a niche specialization in art law. Her team comprises a corporate senior associate, an intellectual property senior associate, and a senior art consultant providing guidance on collections, exhibitions, and corporate art strategy.
Before joining Charles Russell Speechlys, Annapaola was an Equity Partner at Pavesio e Associati with Negri-Clementi. With over 30 years of experience, she has advised large industrial groups and companies across sectors on sophisticated corporate transactions, M&A, financial services, fintech solutions, IP, and corporate governance. She is recognized for her expertise in advising on innovative financial technologies at the intersection of law, finance, and digital transformation.
In addition to her corporate practice, Annapaola is a respected figure in the Italian art world. Her practice includes advising private banks and family offices on art transactions, collection management, and regulatory compliance under Italy’s Ministry of Culture. Her personal art collection will be featured in the Milan office. She has also held senior roles in financial services companies and listed enterprises, participated in industry associations, and lectured at leading universities.
