Clyde & Co Welcomes Corporate Partner Dr. Mohamed Ramadan and Team in Cairo
The global law firm, Clyde & Co has strengthened its corporate practice in Cairo with the appointment of Dr. Mohamed Ramadan as Partner, joining the firm along with his team, which includes Mohamed Kandel (Senior Associate) and Mai Khaled (Associate). The hire reflects the firm’s continued strategic investment in top-tier talent to expand its sector-led corporate and commercial offering in Egypt.
Dr. Ramadan brings extensive experience advising multinational and domestic clients on complex corporate, commercial, and transactional matters across key sectors including automotive, construction, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, industrial projects, software and technology, and oil & gas. He and his team will play a central role in delivering market-leading corporate advice, supporting the firm’s growth strategy in Egypt, and reinforcing Clyde & Co’s presence in the country.

Over the past three years, Clyde & Co has expanded its corporate practice across the Middle East and Africa to meet rising demand for strategic cross-border M&A and corporate advisory services. Recent initiatives include the hiring of tax partner Janet Gooi, enhancing capabilities in international tax structuring, M&A tax, and tax disputes, alongside the appointment of partners Mohamed Barakat, Mostafa Elsakaa, and Sameh Dahroug in Cairo following the opening of an associated office. Regional growth also encompasses the recruitment of partner Elias Matni and legal director Maha Lawson in Qatar, the promotion of Shahd Makhafah as the firm’s first Saudi female partner, and the launch of a new office in Jeddah led by corporate partner Mohammed Almarzouki.
