Cooley LLP Welcomes Charlotte Witherington as Partner in London to Lead Financial Services Regulatory Growth
The Global Law firm, Cooley LLP has appointed Charlotte Witherington as a Partner in its London financial services enforcement and regulatory group. Witherington joins from Taylor Wessing, where she was head of the UK financial services regulatory group, and brings extensive expertise at the intersection of technology and financial services.
In her new role, Witherington will support Cooley’s growing client base across the UK, Europe, and globally, focusing on fintech, payments, crypto-assets, banking and investment regulation, and the application of artificial intelligence in financial services. Her practice also covers advisory and transactional support for investment banks, asset managers, private equity and venture capital investors, fintechs, payments companies, and major corporates.
