Davis Polk Elects Seven New Partners Across Key Practices And Geographies
Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP has announced the election of seven new partners across its global offices, effective July 1, 2025. The newly promoted partners represent a diverse array of the firm’s core practices, including restructuring, finance, corporate, white collar defense, M&A, and antitrust, reinforcing Davis Polk’s continued investment in leadership across jurisdictions and sectors.
The new partners include:
- Jon Finelli (Restructuring – New York): Finelli advises clients on complex U.S. and cross-border financings and restructurings. His experience spans leveraged and investment-grade financings, asset-based deals, liability management transactions, and DIP and exit financings.
- Ruben Henriquez (Finance – New York): Henriquez represents direct lenders and major banks in a wide range of private credit and syndicated finance transactions, including senior stretch and unitranche structures, recurring revenue deals, and cross-border acquisition financings.
- Beth LeBow (Corporate – Northern California): LeBow counsels issuers and underwriters in capital markets transactions and advises on securities compliance and governance. She has a strong focus on clients in the healthcare, life sciences, and technology sectors.
- Stefani Johnson Myrick (White Collar Defense & Investigations – Washington, DC): Myrick advises on SEC, DOJ, CFTC, and internal investigations, with a focus on securities law enforcement and compliance. She brings deep experience in corporate governance and risk mitigation strategies.
- Tierney O’Rourke (M&A and Corporate – Northern California): O’Rourke handles public and private M&A transactions, including cross-border deals, and counsels on corporate and securities matters, particularly within the tech, fintech, life sciences, and financial services sectors.
- Jonah Peppiatt (Restructuring – New York): Peppiatt represents stakeholders in complex restructurings and bankruptcies across sectors such as energy, telecom, aviation, and consumer goods, including workouts, refinancings, and distressed M&A.
- Matt Yeowart (Antitrust & Competition – London/Brussels): Yeowart specializes in U.K., EU, and international merger control, FDI, and enforcement matters. He advises on strategy and clearances before authorities including the CMA, European Commission, and U.K. courts.
