Dentons Expands Into Cameroon To Strengthen African Presence
Dentons Expands into Cameroon to Strengthen African Presence
The Global Law firm, Dentons, the world’s largest global law firm, has launched its presence in Cameroon through a collaboration with one of the country’s leading law firms, providing clients across its 85+ jurisdictions with access to top local legal expertise.
The move leverages the experience of Kouengoua Minou Nkongho (KMN), who has over 40 years of experience handling complex cross-border matters across Africa. The expansion enhances Dentons’ capabilities in corporate law, commercial litigation, mergers & acquisitions, and other key practice areas.
Cameroon serves as a major transit hub and gateway for global business, with opportunities fueled by its natural resources, growing infrastructure, and regional integration.
Mohamed Zaanouni, CEO of Dentons’ Africa Region, said,
“The launch of our presence in Cameroon strengthens our commitment to offering exceptional service for our clients in and outside of Africa. We are excited to work with our new colleagues and help clients explore opportunities in this promising market.”
Kate Barton, Global CEO of Dentons, said,
“Dentons is thrilled to help build on the prestigious reputation our new team has established in Cameroon and beyond. Together, we bring a powerful combination of global experience and local expertise that enables us to deliver exceptional legal services. As Cameroon’s economy continues to grow and attract international investment, we are well-placed to guide clients through emerging opportunities and complex legal landscapes.”
This launch underscores Dentons’ commitment to combining global experience with deep local knowledge, strengthening its service offerings for clients across Africa and beyond.
