KARM Legal Consultants expands team in Greater China with Roy (Si Yuan) Ye
The UAE-based boutique law firm, KARM Legal Consultants has appointed Roy (Si Yuan) Ye as Greater China Manager, strengthening its presence in the Greater China region. Roy brings extensive experience in corporate advisory, regulatory compliance, and cross-border legal work, with a particular focus on digital assets, financial services, and market entry into the UAE. A graduate of East China University of Political Science and Law (LL.B.),
Roy is a qualified legal professional in China and holds certifications in AML/CFT compliance. He has supported virtual asset companies with VARA license applications and contributed to digital asset and real-world asset tokenization projects under Dubai’s regulatory frameworks. His hands-on experience with financial services licensing in DIFC and ADGM, including fund manager licenses and investment fund structures, complements his exposure to technology sector market entry, helping clients establish compliant operations in new jurisdictions.
At KARM Legal Consultants, Roy will lead efforts to expand the firm’s footprint in Greater China, working closely with clients to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and develop tailored solutions for digital asset businesses, fintech firms, and multinational corporations. His role will be central to strengthening the firm’s advisory capabilities and deepening client relationships in this dynamic region. Roy’s appointment reflects KARM Legal Consultants’ focus on the UAE market, particularly around digital assets and cross-border business, as the region rapidly becomes a global hub for innovation and international commerce.
Roy’s expertise at the intersection of corporate advisory, regulatory compliance, fintech, and digital assets makes him a valuable addition to KARM Legal Consultants’ growing team, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to delivering innovative, compliant, and client-focused solutions in the UAE and Greater China markets.
KARM Legal Consultants is a UAE-based boutique law firm specializing in emerging technologies, fintech, and data protection.
