K&L Gates Straits Law appoints Joan Lim-Casanova as a Partner in Singapore

With the addition of Joan Lim- Casanova as a partner, K&L Gates Straits Law, the Singapore branch of K&L Gates, has bolstered its litigation and dispute resolution practice.

She was earlier working with Cavenagh Law which has a formal alliance with Clifford Chance in Singapore, which she joined about a decade ago and served there as a partner for nearly two years.

With a focus on commercial litigation and international arbitration, Lim-Casanova has expertise in contentious work and dispute settlement. She has represented and advised multinational clients in the resolution of high-value and complicated issues in a variety of business sectors.

She frequently represents and provides advice to Chinese state-owned and private businesses on how to handle and prevent conflicts.
