Malaysia’s Skrine launches India Desk to support cross-border corporate work
The Malaysian law firm Skrine has established a dedicated India Desk in response to growing cross-border corporate activity between India and Malaysia. The India Desk, based in Kuala Lumpur, aims to assist Indian companies operating in Malaysia as well as Malaysian corporates with business interests in India.
The desk will be led by partners Ashok Kumar Mahadev Ranai, Manshan Singh, and Fariz Abdul Aziz, who will respectively focus on contentious matters, trade, and non-contentious corporate work. This strategic move consolidates Skrine’s cross-border corporate, M&A, energy, projects, dispute resolution, and regulatory capabilities into a unified platform to better serve clients navigating both jurisdictions.
