Martínez-Echevarría Lawyers Strengthens UAE Presence with Andrés Salinero Hire as Of Counsel
The international law firm, Martínez-Echevarría has strengthened its international strategy in the United Arab Emirates with the appointment of Andrés Salinero as Of Counsel, a move aimed at consolidating the firm’s presence in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Salinero brings a unique blend of legal, economic, and diplomatic expertise. He holds qualifications in Economics from Universidad CEU San Pablo and Law from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED). He is also a Spanish State commercial technician and economist.
He began his career at Spain’s Directorate-General of the Treasury, within the unit responsible for EU economic and monetary affairs, and subsequently held several senior roles at the Secretariat of State for Trade, including head of the support unit for the Directorate-General for Trade and Investment and chief of staff at the Secretariat of State for Trade.
Salinero has extensive diplomatic experience, having served in Spanish diplomatic postings in Paraguay, Puerto Rico, and the UAE, where he worked as economic and commercial counsellor in Dubai.
With his appointment, Martínez-Echevarría aims to deepen its advisory capabilities in the UAE market, supporting clients across international trade, investment, and regulatory matters.
Founded in 1983, Martínez-Echevarría is a prominent international law firm known for its extensive presence in the Iberian Peninsula and its specialized focus on Real Estate and Residential Tourism
