Matouk Bassiouny Promotes Ossama Abouzaid To Partner in Corporate & M&A Practice
Matouk Bassiouny Promotes Ossama Abouzaid to Partner in Corporate & M&A Practice
The leading full-service MENA (Middle East and North Africa) law firm, Matouk Bassiouny, is pleased to announce the elevation of Ossama Abouzaid to Partner, recognising his significant contributions to the firm’s Corporate and M&A practice.
Ossama is a key member of the Corporate and M&A team, bringing extensive experience in corporate, commercial, and transactional matters. Since joining the firm in 2017, he has advised clients on complex transactions, corporate governance, and company law matters, including entity establishment, legal opinions, and the drafting of tailored commercial agreements.
He has worked extensively on due diligence exercises and high-profile acquisition transactions across multiple sectors, including industrial, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, healthcare, and tourism. His experience also spans advising leading private equity firms, regional investment funds, and multinational corporations on landmark investments and divestments in Egypt and the broader region.
Prior to joining Matouk Bassiouny, Ossama served as a Public Prosecutor, gaining valuable experience in criminal, civil, and family law, as well as in conducting complex investigations—experience that continues to enrich his legal practice and strategic approach to client matters.
The firm welcomes Ossama to the partnership and looks forward to his continued contributions to the growth and success of its Corporate and M&A practice.
