Matouk Bassiouny Welcomes Stefano Beghi As Of Counsel In Dubai Office
Matouk Bassiouny is pleased to announce the addition of Stefano Beghi as Of Counsel in the firm’s Corporate and M&A Practice Group in its Dubai office.
Stefano brings over 30 years of legal experience, advising clients across the EMEA region on complex corporate, commercial, and M&A matters. His arrival reinforces Matouk Bassiouny’s strategic focus on deepening its cross-border advisory capabilities and expanding its regional strength in the UAE and beyond.
Having worked extensively in Asia and the UAE since 2010, Stefano offers a distinctive blend of local insight and global execution expertise. His cross-border legal acumen and cultural fluency have made him a trusted advisor to multinational clients navigating high-value transactions and strategic investments.
Prior to joining Matouk Bassiouny, Stefano held several senior leadership roles, including:
- Partner in the international M&A practice at Seyfarth Shaw;
- Senior Partner at Gianni & Origoni, where he helped lead operations in Italy, India, Hong Kong, and Shanghai;
- And over a decade with Ernst & Young and Andersen Legal in Europe.
“We are confident that Stefano’s joining will further strengthen our regional offering and enhance the value we deliver to clients across industries and borders,” the firm stated.
Stefano’s practice focuses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions. He is a member of the Italian National Bar Association (Ordine degli Avvocati) and holds an LL.B. from the University of Padua, Italy (1984).
He was recently recognized as a Notable Practitioner by IFLR1000 (2024).
