Global law firm King & Spalding has announced the return of Matt Hanson as a Partner in its Special Matters and Government Investigations practice group. He will be based in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.
Hanson reenters private practice following nearly three years with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Legislative Affairs, where he most recently served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General. In this high-level role, he was responsible for a wide range of legislative matters spanning national security, intelligence, technology, financial services, healthcare, and drug policy.
