Michael Kim joins A&O Shearman as Partner in U.S. Capital Markets practice to strengthen New York presence
A&O Shearman has strengthened its U.S. Capital Markets practice with the appointment of Michael Kim as a Partner in the firm’s New York office. This strategic addition supports the firm’s global growth priorities and reinforces its position in a key financial hub.
Michael Kim, a prominent figure in the U.S. capital markets community, joins A&O Shearman from Morgan Stanley, where he was Head of Americas Capital Markets Legal, overseeing a wide range of transactions across the capital structure, including U.S. IPOs, direct listings, equity and equity-linked offerings, private placements, and both high yield and investment-grade debt issuances. He began his legal career at Davis Polk.
