Patrick Murphy Joins King & Spalding as Partner in Washington, D.C., Bolstering Compliance and Investigations Practice
King & Spalding has announced the addition of Patrick J. Murphy as a partner in its Special Matters and Government Investigations practice group, based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
Murphy brings more than 25 years of experience in litigation, compliance, and investigations within the life sciences and healthcare sectors. He spent nearly two decades at GE, including five years in its Corporate Litigation group and nearly fifteen years as GE Healthcare’s Global Chief Litigation Counsel. At GE, he oversaw complex litigation, internal investigations, global compliance initiatives, and enterprise-wide risk mitigation programs.
Most recently, Murphy served for over six years as Global Chief Litigation Counsel at Fresenius Medical Care, where he led the company through a major FCPA resolution and a successful independent monitorship.
