Pinsent Masons appoints Louisa Lynch as Partner for Middle East Real Estate Practice

Louisa Lynch has been named as a real estate partner in Dubai by Pinsent Masons. She was formerly the head of the Middle East Real Estate and Hospitality practice at another legal firm, Norton Rose Fulbright.

Lynch has been providing counsel to clients in the region since 2008, with vast experience in advising developers, investors, and lenders on an array of real estate and hospitality concerns. This includes significant mixed-use developments, real estate investment management and leasing, commercial property work, and hotel transactions.

“The real estate market across the Middle East continues to drive growth – and is an attractive market for inbound and domestic investors. Louisa is a strong addition to the firm and brings the right expertise to support our private and public sector clients on all aspects of real estate mandates across the Middle East,” Catherine Workman, Head of Middle East at Pinsent Masons, said.

Louisa Lynch has extensive experience in working on some of the most significant real estate projects in the Middle East.

She regularly advises clients in the public and private sectors across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, and Egypt. Notable projects in her portfolio include advising on the acquisition of the Al Maryah Tower, a Grade A commercial building in the Abu Dhabi Global Market, and the regeneration of Mina Zayed Port in Abu Dhabi through the MiZa master community.

Louisa Lynch commented on her new appointment, stating that developers, lenders, and investors in real estate markets across the Middle East are currently experiencing a high level of activity, particularly against the backdrop of a push for economic diversification.

“I’m looking forward to working with the multinational, sector-led team at Pinsent Masons advising clients on a broad range of real estate matters as every business grapples with the increasingly important topic of sustainability,” Lynch said.
