Pinsent Masons Expands Middle East Team with Appointment of Marie Chowdhry as Partner
Pinsent Masons has appointed Marie Chowdhry as a partner in its financial services practice in the Middle East, rejoining the Dubai office on 5 th February 2025. Marie, previously a Senior Associate with the firm, brings extensive experience from her time at Lean Technologies, where she served as General Counsel and Head of Compliance, overseeing operations in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Her broad expertise spans financial regulatory compliance, fintech innovation, open finance, payment services, digital assets, and AI technologies, developed through both her private practice and in-house roles. Marie will be instrumental in advancing Pinsent Masons' financial services capabilities in the region.
Colin Read, Head of Regulation, Insurance, and Funds, expressed enthusiasm about her return, stating, "We are thrilled to welcome Marie back to our team.
