Sammy Fang’s Move to Singapore Strengthens DLA Piper’s Compliance & Investigations Offering in Asia
DLA Piper has strengthened its Compliance & Investigations capabilities in Asia with the relocation of Sammy Fang (Partner and Head of Greater China Compliance & Investigations) from Hong Kong to Singapore, effective May 1, 2025.
Sammy, who has been instrumental in building the firm’s Compliance & Investigations practice in Greater China since 2014, will continue to hold his current leadership roles from Singapore. He will also co-lead the firm’s ESG practice in Asia and spearhead the development of the Southeast Asia Compliance and Investigations practice, working closely with Nathan Bush (Partner and Head of Antitrust & Competition and International Trade for Asia).
With over a decade of experience in compliance and investigations, Sammy advises multinational corporations and domestic companies on matters such as product liability, regulatory compliance, internal fraud, white-collar crime, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, cybercrime, and data breaches. His industry expertise spans life sciences, technology, hospitality and leisure, consumer products, and industrials. His cross-border work includes mandates in Mainland China, the US, Hong Kong, Australia, and Southeast Asia.
