Stephenson Harwood Expands Energy Transition Practice With New Partner Hires
Stephenson Harwood has strengthened its international energy transition practice with the appointment of Partners Nick Dingemans and John Zadkovich, along with Associate Lena Ow.
Daryll Ng, Managing Partner of the firm’s Singapore office, highlighted the strategic importance of decarbonisation, stating, “We have identified decarbonisation as a key priority and have been actively seeking senior hires in this space. It’s rare to bring in a team of such highly regarded and experienced lawyers.”
Nick Dingemans, a corporate and M&A specialist, brings significant expertise in cross-border acquisitions, restructurings, and joint ventures. His practice focuses on renewable energy, low-emission fuels, and cleantech, aligning with the firm’s growing capabilities in decarbonisation. His previous roles include partner positions at Watson Farley & Williams and Norton Rose Fulbright.
John Zadkovich, a disputes and arbitration expert with nearly two decades of experience, specializes in energy transition, banking, finance, and technology sectors.
The team joins from Penningtons Manches Cooper and brings extensive experience advising clients across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
Jonathan Cripps, Head of Decarbonisation at Stephenson Harwood, emphasized the importance of the hires, stating, “With Singapore’s push towards sustainability through the Singapore Green Plan 2030, now is the perfect time to bolster our expertise in the region.”
