Tongshang Hong Kong Hires Bonnie Yung As Partner In Corporate and Finance Practice
Tongshang Hong Kong Hires Bonnie Yung as Partner in Corporate and Finance Practice
Hong Kong’s Eric Chow & Co., operating in association with the PRC’s Commerce & Finance Law Offices (Tongshang), has strengthened its corporate and finance practice with the hire of Bonnie Yung as Partner from Han Kun Law Offices.
Yung brings over 20 years of experience advising clients on general corporate matters and corporate finance transactions across a wide range of sectors, including information technology, real estate, financial services, retail, manufacturing, and mining.
She joined Han Kun in January 2024 from Mayer Brown and previously worked at LC Lawyers (an erstwhile EY network firm) and Paul Hastings.
This appointment marks Tongshang Hong Kong’s fourth lateral partner hire in 2025, following Chi-ho Kwan, who joined from Jingtian & Gongcheng in August, and Kung-Wei Liu and Frank Fu, who joined earlier this year from A&O Shearman. With Yung’s addition, the Hong Kong office now has eight partners, further enhancing its corporate and finance capabilities in the region.
Tongshang Hong Kong continues to focus on delivering integrated cross-border corporate, finance, and commercial legal services to clients in Hong Kong and the Greater China region.
Commerce & Finance Law Offices (Tongshang) is a prominent, full-service Chinese commercial law firm established in 1992. It is recognized as one of the first private practice law firms in mainland China and is considered one of the leading "red circle" law offices. The firm is known for delivering business-oriented legal solutions rather than just legal advice.
