Will Rollins Joins King & Spalding as Partner In Los Angeles To Strengthen Business Litigation Practice
Will Rollins joins King & Spalding as Partner in Los Angeles to strengthen business litigation practice
King & Spalding has expanded its Business Litigation practice with the appointment of Will Rollins as Partner in its Los Angeles office.
A former Assistant U.S. Attorney (AUSA) in the Central District of California, Will Rollins brings extensive experience from high-profile criminal and national security investigations, including white-collar, gang, and cartel cases. He later served in the National Security Division, specialising in counterterrorism and counterintelligence. Rollins has led dozens of grand jury investigations, conducted expert examinations in trial, and argued appeals before the Ninth Circuit.
He has been recognised by several agencies — including the FBI, IRS, DEA, and the Director of National Intelligence — for exceptional trial and investigative work.
After leaving public service, Rollins ran as a major-party nominee for the U.S. House of Representatives in California’s 41st District. In private practice, he represented technology companies in complex commercial litigation and advised private equity and hedge fund leaders on partnership and investment disputes.
Damien Marshall, co-leader of King & Spalding’s Business Litigation practice group, said,
Rollins holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Stone Scholar, and a B.A. from Dartmouth College. He clerked for the Hon. Jacqueline Nguyen on the Ninth Circuit and the Hon. George Wu in the Central District of California. He also previously served as an aide to California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Will Rollins, Partner at King & Spalding, said,
Rollins is the fourth litigation partner to join King & Spalding in California in 2025, following former Ninth Circuit judge Paul Watford, former Google regulatory counsel Ben Softness, and e-discovery partner Chris Costello.
