Yeong Wai Cheong rejoins RHTLaw Asia
Singaporean law firm RHTLaw Asia has announced the return of real estate specialist Yeong Wai Cheong as a partner after he left Drew & Napier. With over 20 years of experience, Yeong offers legal counsel to a range of clients, including Singapore-listed firms, banks, purchasers, vendors, developers, landlords, and tenants. His area of expertise includes domestic and cross-border financing and real estate matters, with a particular focus on banking, finance, and property law.
Before joining Drew & Napier in 2013, Yeong served as the head of the finance and real estate practice at RHTLaw from 2011, following the separation from KhattarWong. Prior to that, he held in-house positions at Rabobank and Calyon.
RHTLaw now has a total of 18 partners with Yeong's arrival, including Anil Changaroth, a disputes partner who merged his boutique with RHT earlier this year.
