Zimmer Biomet Names Vivek Malhotra As Director – Legal (South Asia)
Vivek Malhotra has been appointed as the Director – Legal (South Asia) at Zimmer Biomet, a leading American medical device company headquartered in Warsaw, Indiana.
With over 17 years of experience in legal advisory, corporate governance, contracts and claims management, compliance, and regulatory affairs across diverse industries, he brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. He has led several institutional arbitrations and is currently empanelled as an arbitrator with prominent global institutions, including WIPO and ICA.
As an in-house counsel and contracts expert in his previous roles, he has advised business units on complex contract negotiations, Technology IPR, Joint Ventures, Due Diligence, Dispute Resolution, Employment Matters, Data Protection, and Regulatory Compliance.
Vivek holds multiple academic and professional qualifications, including a graduate degree in law and an LL.M from National Law University, Delhi. He has been recognized with gold medals by the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India for academic excellence in Corporate Laws & Management and Alternative Dispute Resolution. His credentials also include degrees in commerce, economics, and business administration, along with certifications in IPR, GDPR, contracts management, and public procurement.
