Linklaters Acted on Carrier Global Corporation's $4.95 billion Global Access Solutions Divestment to Honeywell
Linklaters acted as legal advisor to Carrier Global Corporation on the sale of its Global Access Solutions business, including the industry-leading brands LenelS2, Supra and Onity, to Honeywell for an enterprise value of $4.95 billion.
Comprising approximately 1,200 employees across 33 countries, Carrier's Global Access Solutions business boasts a leading position in advanced access and security solutions, electronic locking systems, and contactless mobile key solutions. The pending sale offers this industry leader a platform to power its established brands, innovative solutions, strong partner relationships, and high growth potential under Honeywell's ownership.
Upon successful completion of regulatory reviews and customary closing steps, the transaction is expected to close by the end of the third quarter of 2024.
Linklaters' team, spearheaded by Corporate M&A partner Derek Tong and supported by Antitrust & Foreign Investment partner Anna Mitchell (both based in London) and Employment and Incentives partner Matthew Devey (Frankfurt), navigated the deal successfully.
By combining its preeminent transactional capabilities with an unparalleled spectrum of specialist support in antitrust, employment, environmental, and other critical areas, Linklaters' M&A practice consistently delivers exceptional outcomes for corporates, financial sponsors, and investment banks on their most significant and complex deals across diverse sectors and global markets.
