Divyanshu Pandey & Arpita Garg join S&R Associates
Divyanshu Pandey and Arpita Garg join S&R Associates New Delhi office along with associates Rishabh Bhojwani, Prerna Sachdeva and Shashwat Bhaskar. Divyanshu will head the banking and finance practice at S&R Associates. Divyanshu Pandey left J Sagar Associates (JSA) this year to join S&R Associates.
He will head the banking, finance and restructuring practice that covers structured finance, cross-border lending transactions, hybrid debt financing, project finance, acquisition financing, real estate finance as well as restructuring, enforcement and insolvency matters. He advises Indian and multinational banks, debt funds, non-banking finance companies and corporates.
He received a B.A. (Hons.) in 1997 and an LL.B. in 2000 from the University of Delhi and a BCL from the University of Oxford in 2002. Divyanshu's prior experience includes working with Slaughter and May and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in London and J. Sagar Associates in Gurugram.
Arpita Garg specializes in banking and finance matters, including restructuring, insolvency, structured finance, real estate and trade finance, bond issuances and project finance, and has advised a variety of financial institutions, including Indian and multinational banks, arrangers and non-banking finance companies, as well as borrowers. She received a B.S.L. in 2004 and an LL.B. in 2006 from Symbiosis Law School, Pune. Arpita's prior experience includes working with ICICI Bank in Mumbai and J. Sagar Associates in Gurugram.
