IndusInd Bank Appoints Anand Vardhan as General Counsel
IndusInd Bank has appointed Anand Vardhan as its General Counsel and designated him as Senior Management Personnel, effective September 30, 2025, as per a SEBI filing.
Vardhan brings nearly 26 years of experience across legal and compliance functions in leading financial institutions and investment platforms. He most recently served as Group General Counsel at Piramal Group, where he spent over a decade after joining in 2013.
His previous roles include:
- General Counsel, SUN-Apollo Ventures
- Associate Vice President & Head – Legal, HDFC Property Fund
- Legal positions at ICICI Bank and Tata Housing
A graduate of Hansraj College and Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, Vardhan is also a qualified Company Secretary and member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
His appointment comes at a time when IndusInd Bank continues to strengthen its leadership bench to support growth in regulatory, governance, and strategic advisory functions.
