IndusLaw Capital Markets Partner Manan Lahoty Joins Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas With Team
In a significant move, Manan Lahoty, Capital Markets Partner at IndusLaw, is set to join Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas along with his team.
The team will be led by Partner Manan Lahoty and include eight partners and over 50 other fee-earners.
Lahoty, who joined IndusLaw in 2019 from Luthra & Luthra Law Offices, is qualified to practice in both England and Wales and India.
During his tenure, he has been instrumental in advising on major Indian transactions, including Coal India's public offering, Zomato's public offering, the CPSE Exchange Traded Fund, and Daiichi's stake sale in Sun Pharmaceutical.
His expertise also extends to securities law, including pre-offering corporate restructuring, corporate governance, and other securities law matters involving top domestic and international investment banks.
Lahoty graduated from Cardiff Law School in 2001 and began his career at LexIndia before joining the erstwhile Amarchand Mangaldas in 2002. After over three years, he moved to Luthra in 2006 and subsequently worked at Shearman & Sterling. He returned to Luthra as a Partner in the Capital Markets group in 2009 before joining IndusLaw in 2019.
IndusLaw has recently experienced several notable departures. Disputes Partner Padmaja Kaul left with her team to join JSA, while Avik Biswas and Vaibhav Bhardwaj transitioned to Khaitan & Co as Partners in the Employment, Labour, and Benefits practice with their teams.
