Siddharth Manchanda has joined Unacademy as Group General Counsel
Siddharth Manchanda, who previously worked with IndusLaw, an Indian firm, advising clients worldwide on Indian laws, has quit the firm. He has joined Unacademy, a unicorn, in the ed-tech space as its Group General Counsel.
A 2009 graduate of ILS Law College, Pune, Manchanda has over 12 years of experience working with leading law firms. He began his career as part of the transaction advisory practice with Bharucha & Partners in 2009. Later, he joined Algo Legal (erstwhile Themis Associates) setting up the firm's Mumbai office. In 2020, along with his team in Mumbai, Manchanda joined IndusLaw as its partner.
An expert on corporate and business restructuring, venture capital investments and acquisitions, he is also proficient in capital markets, banking and financial matters.
