Janhvi Chadha Joins Fidus Law Chambers as Partner and Head of Mumbai Office
The Indian boutique intellectual property (IP) law firm Fidus Law Chambers has appointed Janhvi Chadha as a partner and head of its Mumbai office. Chadha brings over a decade of experience in intellectual property enforcement, litigation, and transactional strategy, having advised clients across multiple jurisdictions and sectors.
She joins Fidus Law Chambers from Krishna & Saurastri, where she served as an associate partner. Over her career, she has held roles including Principal Associate, Managing Associate, Senior Associate, and Associate at Krishna & Saurastri, and previously worked as an Associate at Khaitan & Co and as a Trainee Solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London, UK.
Speaking on the appointment, Shwetasree Majumder (Managing Partner, Fidus Law Chambers) said:

With this addition, Fidus Law now has eight partners, including Priya Adlakha, who was recently promoted to the partnership.

Janhvi Chadha’s expertise spans a wide range of intellectual property matters, reflecting her dual qualification in India and England & Wales. Her key areas of focus include IP litigation, including trade mark, copyright, design, and patent disputes; IP enforcement and strategy, managing civil and criminal enforcement actions; prosecution and advisory, covering IP filings, brand development strategies, and general IP advisory; and media and entertainment law, handling IP and regulatory matters within the sector.
Qualifications
Chadha is a dual-qualified lawyer, admitted in both India and England & Wales. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She is an Advocate registered with the Bar Council of India, a Solicitor in England & Wales, and an overseas member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA).
