Josh McFadzen and Bryan Wilson Join Clyde & Co as Partners to Expand Abu Dhabi Energy Practice
Clyde & Co has strengthened its energy practice in Abu Dhabi with the addition of partners Josh McFadzen and Bryan Wilson, who join the firm along with their team — senior associate Marc Penman and associate Ross Blyth.
McFadzen and Wilson’s practice focuses on non-contentious oil and gas project development, transactional matters and related infrastructure. They advise clients across the full project lifecycle, acting for both operators and contractors, with clients including national and international oil companies and supermajors.
Josh McFadzen brings more than a decade of experience in both in-house and private practice roles. He counsels clients across upstream, midstream and downstream sectors, advising sovereign energy entities and national oil companies across Gulf Cooperation Council jurisdictions.
Bryan Wilson adds over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, having advised on energy and petrochemical projects at every stage. His background includes infrastructure work across the Middle East and senior in-house counsel positions at TotalEnergies and Maersk Oil.
David Leckie, partner and Middle East and Africa energy head at Clyde & Co, said,
This expansion marks Clyde & Co’s continued investment in its core energy sector offering in the Middle East, further strengthening its capabilities to advise on complex cross-border energy matters and major infrastructure projects.
