Karthik Somasundram has been hired by Spice Route Legal as a partner in dispute resolution practice.
He has over 15 years of experience in corporate commercial disputes, counseling, and representing clients in domestic and international forums. Somasundram’s proficiency extends to matters related to private equity, strategic investments, and significant credit facilities.
Since the enactment of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) in 2016, Karthik has been actively involved in mandates related to default enforcement and restructuring. He has been a regular representative before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT).
A 2004 graduate of NALSAR, Hyderabad, Karthik has worked at Krishnamurthy & Co and DSK Legal. Until recently, he was serving as a partner at Bharucha & Partners.
