Luthra Hires Samarjit Gajendra Pattnaik to Bolster White-Collar and Disputes Practice
Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India has announced the appointment of Samarjit Gajendra Pattnaik as a Partner in the Firm’s Dispute Resolution practice.
Samarjit, who brings with him over two decades of invaluable experience, joins the firm from Karanjawala & Company, where he headed the highly regarded white-collar crime practice and handled various other complex commercial litigations, including arbitration, winding-up proceedings, and consumer forums.
With a strong track record of success across a wide spectrum of litigation, Samarjit’s expertise spans a broad range of dispute resolution areas, cementing his reputation as a leader in his field. His tenure at Karanjawala & Company saw him manage significant and high-profile cases, gaining in-depth insight into the intricacies of the Indian legal landscape and commercial disputes.
At Luthra and Luthra, Samarjit will continue to enhance the Firm’s White-Collar Crime and Dispute Resolution practice, while also driving growth in areas such as arbitration, commercial litigation, and other complex dispute areas. He will be supported by his experienced team comprising Managing Associate Puneet Relan and Associate Kashish Seth, who are also joining Luthra and Luthra, ensuring continuity and the ability to take on new challenges with a strategic approach.
