Manu Varghese joins Samvad Partners as a Partner in the M&A Practice
He was previously working with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas
Manu Varghese has joined the Mumbai branch of Samvad Partners as a partner in Mumbai. He will focus on mergers and acquisitions and private equity.
With a career spanning 15 years, Varghese has worked with clients from an array of sectors including e-commerce, retail, cement, financial services, equipment manufacturing, renewable energy and information technology.
On his joining Varghese remarked, "I feel privileged to join such a warm and welcoming partnership and engage with this group of highly accomplished individuals, who I believe have truly imbibed the philosophy of 'Samvād' - a value that resonates with me deeply. With a specialty in M&A, private equity, joint ventures and business transfers, he has worked with some of India's largest conglomerates, multinational companies and private equity players.
Varghese has extensive experience in advising clients on strategic acquisitions and exits, private equity investments, joint ventures, inbound foreign investments, divestment of businesses, assets and outbound investments, FDIs, cross-border transactions and joint ventures.
