Neha Munjral to Join United Breweries as Director – Legal
United Breweries Limited (UBL) has appointed Neha Munjral as its new Director – Legal, effective October 1, 2025. Her appointment follows the resignation of Shelly Kohli, who will be joining HEINEKEN as Regional Legal Director for APAC.
With over 17 years of experience, Munjral has held leading roles in multinational corporations and law firms across India. Most recently, she served as General Counsel and Head of CSR at GE Healthcare for its medical device business covering India and South Asia, where she also led enterprise risk management and sat on the board of GEBEL Private Limited, a JV between GE Healthcare and Bharat Electronics.
Previously, Munjral held a leadership role as General Counsel at GE Power India Limited, and began her legal career at Luthra & Luthra Law Offices, New Delhi.
Reflecting on her transition, Neha Sachdev Munjral said,
"As I prepare for my last two weeks at GE Healthcare and Wipro GE Healthcare with a million thanks and gratitude in my heart—for all of my wonderful colleagues, mentors, friendships, growth and learnings of the last (almost) 9 years…it seems the future already beckons…what a time!"
An alumna of the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore (2007) and New York University School of Law (LL.M.), Munjral is recognized for her expertise in strategic board management, complex deal negotiations, compliance and investigations, and enterprise risk management.
