R Sudhinder and Abeezar Faizullabhoy appointed Argus Partners' EC members
They have nearly 60 years of cumulative experience
Sudhinder has been with the firm since April 2007, while Faizullabhoy joined the firm in February 2019 from HSA Advocates.
R Sudhinder and Abeezar Faizullabhoy, the Senior Partners at the law firm Argus Partners, were appointed as members of the Executive Committee during the Equity Partners meeting held recently.
They have joined Managing Partner Krishnava Dutt as members of the Executive Committee.
Sudhinder has been with the firm since 2007, while Faizullabhoy joined in 2019.
With over three decades of experience, in different areas of legal practice including indirect taxation, contracts, competition law, foreign trade laws, anti-dumping laws, corporate, constitutional, and administrative laws, Sudhinder was admitted to the Bar in 1989.
Prior to joining Argus Partners, he practiced law as an independent counsel. Before that, he worked as a junior advocate under Senior Advocate AN Haksar.
On the other hand, Faizullabhoy has over 28 years of experience in dispute resolution, arbitration, and corporate commercial practice areas.
He started his career with Mulla & Mulla and Craigie Blunt & Caroe. Later, he shifted to J Sagar Associates and also had a stint as Group CEO of an investor in the energy sector. He re-joined the profession and joined HSA Advocates as a Partner.
In his corporate commercial practice, Faizullabhoy has advised on joint ventures, angel/PE investments, shareholders agreements, share purchase agreements, technology transfer agreements, and diverse advisory work on Foreign Direct Investment and under company law, Foreign Exchange Management Act, and other statutes.
