Ritu Satya Sharma Promoted to Associate General Counsel at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories
Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories has promoted Ritu Satya Sharma to Associate General Counsel – Legal Tech Ops. In her expanded role, Sharma will support the Global Manufacturing Organisation, Biologics (Research and Manufacturing), Innovation, Research & Development, and the commercialisation of APIs across international markets.
Sharma brings over 17 years of legal experience, beginning with four years of active litigation practice before courts in Rajasthan. She subsequently transitioned in-house, serving at ReNew Power Ventures, advising on land acquisition for wind and solar projects across multiple states, and at Siemens India as Senior Legal Counsel, handling dispute resolution and complex real estate transactions. She was selected under Siemens’ Young Leaders Programme, completing a secondment at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, before taking on an international role as Regional Compliance Officer for Siemens Mobility, Asia Pacific.
Educational Qualifications
- Law Degree (LLB): Bharati Vidyapeeth, New Law College, Pune (2003–2008)
- Executive MBA: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore (2019–2020), part of Siemens’ Young Leaders Programme
- Workforce Development and Training: Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), 2021
- Secondary Education: St. Anselm’s, Jaipur (Science Stream)
Sharma’s experience spans advisory, compliance, and operational roles across India and Asia-Pacific, covering areas such as land acquisition, dispute resolution, data privacy, anti-corruption, anti-trust, and regulatory compliance. Her promotion strengthens Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories’ legal capability in supporting complex global operations and cross-border projects.
