Robert Mathers hired by Quarles & Brady as a partner
He was earlier working with a Wisconsin-based law firm
Law firm Quarles & Brady has announced that Robert Mathers has joined the firm's Milwaukee office in the Business Law and Tax Law practice groups.
Before joining Quarles & Brady, Mathers was a shareholder and chair of the tax section at a Wisconsin-based law firm. Prior to that, he was the national tax director and CEO of the wealth management subsidiary at one of the largest national CPA firms in the country.
Robert Mathers stated, "I am excited to join the Quarles & Brady team and to provide my clients with access to the firm's deep Wisconsin and national platform. The firm has a great reputation and top-notch capabilities in serving businesses in areas such as M&A and finance, as well as in serving individuals with trust and estate needs."
Mathers provides tax advice to businesses and business owners with a focus on tax planning and tax code interpretation, as well as the tax ramifications on corporate transactions and individuals' private wealth.
He has a multi-jurisdictional practice, with extensive experience representing Midwest businesses, business owners, executives, corporations, partnerships, and closely held businesses. Mathers also provides tax counsel to help individuals and families create personalized estate plans and trusts to help them protect their assets.
