Sahil Shah joins Khaitan & Co as a counsel
He will be working with the Investment Funds Practice Group at the Mumbai office
Sahil Shah has joined Khaitan & Co as a counsel after working for J Sagar Associates as a partner for nearly seven years.
With over 16 years of experience, Shah has a specific focus on assisting Indian and foreign fund managers in setting up Alternative Investment Fund (AIFs) in India, as well as assisting Indian and foreign institutional investors in their investments in Indian AIFs. He also focuses on Venture Capital and Private Equity transactions.
A 2004 graduate of Government Law College, Mumbai, he got admitted to the Bombay Incorporated Law Society as a qualified solicitor. Shah has also worked with Nishith Desai Associates for over seven years.
