Sandeep Chowdhury joins The Solar Company as General Counsel
He was previously working as senior vice president – legal at HCC
Sandeep Chowdhury has joined The Solar Company as a General Counsel.
A seasoned legal professional with over 22 years of experience, he is proficient in litigation and arbitration, advisory, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, taxation, labor, intellectual property, anti-trust, risk mitigation, dispute resolutions, FCPA compliance and investigations for diversified industries, and handling legal issues before various courts including the Supreme Court.
Chowdhury has handled large-scale litigations and arbitrations across India and globally, various NCLT-related matters, CCI, CMA, matters against government regulators, dealing with financial services, and structuring of deals/services.
Having done his LLB (Hons) from the University of Calcutta, he completed his Intermediate CA.
Chowdhury has worked with Ola (ANI Technologies Ltd) heading legal, compliance, and regulatory verticals. He has also served at Nuvoco Vistas Corp as the chief general counsel and exco member and with UPL Ltd as global legal director and deputy general counsel.
He also worked with companies including Advanta Seeds, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, Baxter International, Bharti Wal-Mart, and Khaitan & Co. Until recently, he was serving as a senior vice president – legal and general counsel at HCC.
