Shujath Bin Ali Joins Fourth Partner Energy As Chief Legal Officer

Shujath Bin Ali Joins Fourth Partner Energy as Chief Legal Officer
Fourth Partner Energy Limited, a leading renewable energy platform in India, has appointed Shujath Bin Ali as its Chief Legal Officer. In this strategic role, Shujath will lead the company’s legal, governance, compliance, and risk functions, aligning legal frameworks with the company’s rapid growth and ESG-focused goals across India and Southeast Asia.
Shujath brings over 20 years of rich, cross-sector legal experience, having held leadership roles across sustainability, pharmaceuticals, information technology, professional services, and manufacturing. After spending 6 years at Re Sustainability, where he led governance, legal, compliance, ethics, and risk, he joins Fourth Partner Energy to support its mission-driven expansion. Earlier in his career, he worked with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Infosys Technologies, and Ernst & Young, gaining multi-jurisdictional exposure to regulatory, transactional, and strategic advisory work.
Recognised as a Distinguished Legal Mind of India by Legal Era, Shujath is known for his ability to integrate law, ethics, and strategy, building resilient institutions and frameworks in fast-evolving business landscapes. His approach focuses on stakeholder trust, proactive risk mitigation, and values-driven leadership.
In this newly created role, Shujath will guide legal strategy and compliance across project execution, M&A transactions, and regulatory developments, with a focus on Open Access, ISTS, and Green Hydrogen frameworks. He will also drive policy advocacy and sustainable governance in alignment with Fourth Partner Energy’s long-term mission.
Commenting on his new role, Shujath said,
“When law, ethics, and business strategy align, long-term value is inevitable. I’m excited to join a purpose-led platform like Fourth Partner Energy, where I can help scale clean energy solutions through robust legal and governance frameworks.”
